Dendrite-specific motor protein which, in association with the Apba1-containing complex (LIN-10-LIN-2-LIN-7 complex), transports vesicles containing N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor subunit NR2B along microtubules.
Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton . Cell projection, cilium . Cell projection, dendrite . Localizes to dendrites of pyramidal neurons (By similarity). Does not localize to the axons or nuclei in cerebral cortex, hippocampus or olfactory bulb (By similarity). Co-localizes with NR2B-containing vesicles along microtubules (By similarity). .
