Involved in the export of mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm.
Nucleus, nucleoplasm. Cytoplasm. Localized in the nucleoplasm and at the nuclear envelope. Shuttles between the nucleus and the cytoplasm.
Expressed almost exclusively in testis. Also expressed in several cancers.
